This tour is a special celebration of the deep friendship and musical connection between Magnus and John, and serves as a beautiful warm-up ahead of a wave of new music set to be released later this year and into the next. Audiences can expect new, unreleased material alongside reimagined versions of released songs—including Zenmenn material—stripped down to their essentials.

John Moods creates outsider pop songs that feel immediate and deeply emotional, like arrows shot straight to the heart. His music is defined by colorful arrangements that highlight his distinctive voice and intuitive melodies, while his lyrics explore themes of death, the divine, and the mysteries of life. Growing up on the outskirts of West Berlin, Moods began playing guitar at a young age and was already writing songs and performing in bands by 13. In 2012, he co-founded the art rock band Fenster, releasing four records with the group before emerging as a solo artist in 2018 with The Essential John Moods on Mansions and Millions.

MF Tomlinson is an Australian-born London-based artist who, with his collaborators the MFs, crafts sonic worlds that draw upon acid folk, prog, jazz and ambient music - lying somewhere between Bill Callahan, Yo La Tengo and Leonard Cohen.

“Learning Love” is the debut album by Martha Rose & GRIP TIGHT, following their collaboration on several singles released through Berlin label Mansions & Millions. Written by the longtime friends from the UK over two years in GRIP TIGHT’s east Berlin studio, “Learning Love” reflects and explores a soft nocturnal cityscape, glowing with evening lights on winding roads.

They explore love through a rare lens of depth, grappling with loneliness and grief within the drawn curtains of intimacy, and the eternal struggles of trying to be your best self alongside someone else. Romantic, seductive, and minimal, the album creates space for existential questions and meditative melodies. Synth-heavy textures evoke restless twilights, evening walks through the summer city, lamplight glowing, and headlights full beam into the void.
