Featured Track: World Brain “Life in theory (feat. Kumisolo)”

World Brain is the project of Lucas Chantre. It has shared “Life in theory (feat. Kumisolo)”, the first single from the upcoming EP WORLD VS BRAIN, due 9 October via Mansions & Millions.

The track turns the EP’s wider thoughts about virtuality and everyday life into something more intimate: a love story, with a floating bottle adrift at sea gradually coming to life. Japanese musician Kumisolo (Kumi Okamoto) takes the lead vocal and flute, while Miyo Okamoto adds backing vocals.

WORLD VS BRAIN is Chantre’s third release as World Brain, following Peer 2 Peer (2019) and Open Source (2024). Across the seven-track EP, he continues to consider the digital texture of daily life; “Life in theory” brings that thinking back to the simple point of connection between people.
